So yeah.. I decided to give this contest a shot.. It has a good prize..
Adventures of Captain Dorito: X-13D

Though I feel really REALLY left out and shoved aside. I'm not sure why..
But when I submitted my idea I was lost in the middle of a few others and the site then changed the next day.
I never received a comment.. nothing.
Though game ideas which have copyrighted images as illustrations seem to get too much attention.. even worse, some have been put front page and commented by this person called "DORITOS Moderator" who selected them.

I feel that over 80%-90% of the ideas are either ripoffs, sellouts, copyrighted, or just plain stupid.. I'm shocked that whoever is approving them is allowing them to be even posted. Hell.. there is even 2 Megaman ideas with "MegaMan" right in the titles with copyrighted images to boot.

Is there something wrong with my idea?
I have 2 more spots I can fill.. but I need to be careful and quick.
I guess my idea with Captain Dorito isn't cliche enough or a sellout to get enough attention.
So what do you guys think?

I think games created by food companies (Burger King did it already) are pretty much a waste of time and money. If they give it out for free, maybe.

Well the game will most likely be terrible, but the prize is awesome and it would be cool to have your game come to life. But I cant enter since Im not 18 or American. :[

I thought this whole thing was pretty cool until reading that your game idea has to be Dorito themed. Awesome. I mean, at least Burger King formed a studio and came up with game ideas on their own. The company who owns Doritos is just being lazy.

Regardless, if it's released on the Xbox Live Arcade, I'll download the demo and give it a go. All of the Burger King games were terrible, so I'm not holding up any hope of this company taking a fan's idea and changing it into an actual game and having it end up fun.
