Hey guys! Just thought I'd drop an introduction thread here. The first Smash game I played was Brawl, but I've probably played Melee more than I have Brawl (if you don't include hours spent in Subspace Emissary). I started really getting into Smash during the Sm4sh era, mostly the Wii U version (although I started on the 3DS version because I didn't have a Wii U at the time).

I got my name from a custom character I created in Sm4sh, which was a max-speed Toon Link that me and my friends dubbed "Leg Day". I wasn't particularly good with him, but I would almost always win because I'd just fly around the stage chucking bombs and boomerangs.

I'm the owner of the Smash Club at my school, so I made sure to get Ultimate Day 1. As a result, I wanted to get into the competitive scene for this game. If anybody has ideas on where to start, they would be much appreciated! For reference, I use the 'up on the left joystick to jump' controls because that's just the easiest and most intuitive method. However, I have my right joystick set to tilt attacks rather than smash attacks so I still have access to my up-tilt.

I currently main Simon/Richter, but I consider myself 'good' with the following characters:
Simon, Richter, Marth, Lucina, Roy, Corrin, Sheik, Pit, Dark Pit, Link, Young Link, Toon Link, Rosalina and Luma, Jigglypuff, and Kirby.
