Don't HATE but RECREATE

There are a few characters that people DO NOT want in Brawl. I've been seeing complaints against several characters that have similar characteristics and physical features as other well known characters.

Now I am not the biggest fan of some of the following characters but that doesn't mean that they shouldn't have a shot at being in Brawl.

These characters could have:
Unique movesets: (like Ganondorf will have)
and
Unique Costumes: (Wario's)

Daisy - some say she's too much like Peach

Waluigi - an obvious mix of Luigi and Wario. Not much backstory

Bowser Jr. - A tiny version of Bowser

Birdo - shoots eggs, looks like Yoshi's wife. (has an ugly bow)

But I'm sure these characters could be recreated.

Daisy could use her abilities from the Mario Soccer Game.
Waluigi could be given completely new moves and actual maybe some story-line. (Who says Brawl can't create new stories for the characters?)
Bowser Jr. already has access to the Magic Wand.
Birdo could use other Super Mario Bros 2 characters to help her out. (Throw the Ninja guys at people)

I think if we stopped and looked at these characters separate from their counter-parts then we could appreciate them as unique characters. They don't have to be playable in Brawl, but they don't have to be off the list of possiblities.

As I said in another thread, if Sakurai does decide to add Waluigi or Bowser Jr., I'm sure they'll have creative movesets that fit the characters. I just feel that neither deserves a place among the all-stars of the Nintendo canon.

I have nothing else to contribute to this thread, other than that all these characters (aside from Bowser Jr.) are merely fillers for the sports and party games.

Ah you can't say that.... sure Waluigi is just filler but Daisy was in the Gameboy Game... Bowser Jr. was a main villain.... and Birdo has been around since the 2nd get-go. (though technically originaled from a Japanese game "Something Something Panic."

Well, Birdo and Daisy haven't appeared in a canon game for a long time. The only reason people still recognize them is the party games.

Bowser Jr., despite my general dislike of him, really is the only deserving character on the list. He's appeared in Super Mario Sunshine and New Super Mario Bros., both 'canon' games.

Anyways, just because they are from the same Mario series doesn't mean they have to be excluded.
Note: Birdo is not a clone.
Note: They ARE original but haven't had much exposure as separate entities.

Enough characters? The Mario characters are the essence of Nintendo, Brawl can all the Mario characters they want for all I care.

Daisy is forever doomed to be an Alt. Costume, Waluigi sucks there's no denying that, but he has a slim chance, Bowser Jr. Is almost a given i guess, **** Birdo.

- Eh, I think Daisy will probably stay as an alt. costume for Peach.
- I can see Waluigi as an alt. constume to Wario, more than that? Not until a canon reappearance at least.
- I can see Bowser Jr. i n Brawl, he seems to be much more different than Bowser.
- I'd like to see Birdo in Brawl just to see what moves they'd give her/him (you know, I think I'm going to go with hir/shi when referring to gender confused characters), I don't know about chances though.

In all honesty, I believe Bowser Jr. would be the only suitable addition.
