Done playin my friends sheik

I just finished playing my friends sheik and since entering the smash board community and learning all the little tricks I do waaaaayyyyyyy beeetttteeerrrrrrr!!. The only thing is that one thing that was throwing me off was that he would wait for me to attack his sheild and then grab its so predictable but for some reason I always fall for it any suggestions??

Most common questions are people just being plain lazy.

Things like, what's the best way to SHDF?

Is wavedashing neccessary to be a good Marth?

When is the best time to *insert move/technique/combo here*.

You guys know the rest. People like to be spoon fed. I will not dignify such responses with an answer. It's gotten to a point where I feel like answering questions like that is just plain stupid.

There are some things people need to just figure out on thier own and are so trivial that they really needn't bother asking questions about.

Please use the search function, or common sense. If you really have a question that you can't find already answered please use the Marth Q and A thread stickied at the top of the Marth Forums.

I did shield grab in the advanced search and picked search only in titles. This is what I found in half a second.

Jump cancel. So JC grab means jump canceled grab. it cancels the lag of the dash grab(name?). just press x/y/^ and z approximately at the same time to grab the opponent..

there's no reason to JC it since youre already idle. JC grabs are used when running. So either press Z/LA/RA.

The up-throw chain grab doesn't work against sheik. Try to up-throw into an up-tilt that seems to work fairly well.
