Dolphin Netplay - can host but can't connect

First off, I hope this is a good section for this; I don't post a lot.

I having what seems like a pretty simple issue, but after 30 minutes of searching Google, Dolphin's forums, and here, I couldn't find an answer. I can host Melee netplay sessions successfully, but cannot join another host. Dolphin tells me "Failed to connect" when I press Connect and I can't for the life of me figure out why. I checked all my Dolphin settings several times.

Is this possibly an issue with my router or network? It just seems odd that I can host but not join. Any advice would be appreciated, and I'm sorry if it's a stupid oversight on my part.

You're not alone. I have the same exact issue.

I just discovered that wiring in directly to my router instead of using WiFi resolves the issue. Good enough fix for me since I want to start using Ethernet for netplay anyway.
