Dolphin Gamecube controller settings

I've played PM on netplay since December 2013. I set up my Gamecube controller for Dolphin using an adapter using settings recommended on the subreddit, and I didn't notice problems because I only get to play PM on a Wii every couple of months. But when I do switch the controls don't feel the same as when I'm using Dolphin, both on netplay and solo. For example I can waveland around Battlefield platforms with no issue on Dolphin, but at a smashfest I couldn't reach the middle platform from the top platform. There's nothing wrong with your settings, unfortunately. Perhaps on the Wii you are just waiting too long to jump after wavelanding and thus you can't make it to the top platform. Maybe you are used to Netplay delay and are not adjusting on the Wii to not having the delay. That's my guess.
