Dolphin Emulator Keeps Crashing after I open up Melee

For whatever reason I can't play melee on my computer. After installing the dolphin emulator and extracting and all that good stuff, I open up Melee and it works. Then i proceed to press ESC and exit the simulator. Then, when I try reopening it, it simply says "Dolphin.exe has stopped working" then after a few seconds it says that windows will try and find a solution, and at the bottom says "close program". I'm not sure whats going on and I would like some advice.
