Dolphin emulator freeze please help.

I just got both files for brawl and project m iso's and the dolphin emulator from the main website. When i start the emulator for both games it starts out fine but once the intro video starts, showing all the characters on that hill it freezes up on me. I haven't changed any settings so i was wondering do i have to change anything? If anyone can help that would be great. Here are the specs to my computer below.

Operating System: Windows 8 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz
Intel HD Graphics 4000
Memory: 8GB
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
