hi everyone,

im using dolphin netplay build and PM 3.5 netplay build from smashladder.com.
Have been playin with a crappy PC controller, everything was fine and working.
today i finally got my USB-adapter for my original GC pad but i got some problems with the left 3D-stick.

dolphin doesnt recognize moving the left stick in upper direction as "axis Y-" input like it should.
but when i manually set "main stick: up" to axis Y- it works fine, the red dot behaves correctly in that test square.

now, in SSBM and SSBB, the main stick completely works like it should, jumping with it is fine.
but in project M, i cant jump by movin the stick in upper direction. moving up still works when navigating in menus or in the character selection screen, but no jumping.
i never deactivated stick jumping in options menu, with my old controller i could stick jump in project M.
and with the GC adapter, stick jumping perfectly works in SSBM and SSBB, so why does it not work in PM??
this is a bit frustrating because its so damn illogical, so any help is greatly appreciated.

EDIT: okay get this, i noticed sth weird. while i cant jump in PM when standing around, i actually CAN jump out of a dash. lol why is this game tryin to mess with me?

yes i did, didnt help.
actually i just tested it with a friends GC controller and it works with it. so it looks like my stick is just broken in a way that the emulator doesnt recognize moving up the stick as a direct digital positive Y axis input while on the analogue side the movement still gets detected correctly.
So it looks like project M needs digital y axis input for jumping while SSBM and SSBB dont. or shorter, it hates old controllers. meh
