Dolphin C-Stick Works, but also doesn't?

I'm using dolphin to play melee, since I don't feel like spending $100 on a semi working version. Since I have the official gamecube adapter, that's what I'm using. So when I load up melee, the c-stick works fine untill I get into a match, then it stops working...

The C-stick is disabled in single player mode for melee altogether, if that's what you're talking about. If you want to use the C-stick for singleplayer mode you have to use a cheat for it or get a hack pack like 20XX.
If the c-stick doesn't work in VS mode then I can't tell you the problem.

That was the problem... I don't play melee very often, so I guess I never played single player things before? Thanks, though!
