Does Viewtiful Joe have any chance?

Viewtiful Joe: a character developed to be a side scrolling fighting character that won GOTY while on the GameCube platform.

4 games on Nintendo platforms, plenty of fan following, already pre-built with very original moves and meant to fight on the side scrolling stage. Did I mention his first game won GOTY?

So, while I honestly think he'd be a great character to have, and had only Nintendo bought the rights to him he'd already be confirmed, does he have any chance at all at beating out MegaMan as Capcom's rep, should they get one?

Viewtiful Joe was meant to be a GameCube, Nintendo classic franchise. And he's be more original than Megaman for Brawl. In a perfect world they could both be in. But does Joe have any chance?

Against Megaman, and with the Joe games dead and Capcom not really continuing them since the place that made them under Capcom is gone...

Oh you will be surprised, he got more than a chance. He is the man of honor at this moment. Hopefully we will hear something around Wednesday, if not MegaMan or SF4 .... then go figure.
