Does Uair juggle actually work?

Ness players are always saying how uthrow > djc uairs juggle fastfallers really well, but I've never ever seen a video in which it's done decently (like a 50% combo). I do like ness, and I watch plenty of his vids, but seriously, I've never seen it. Does it not really work if your opponent DIs or what?

If they DI it is still possible to get a few uairs off. My friend plays falco and he always DI's my up throws but it seems like if he is sub 50% I can still get two uairs off if I move perfectly, but I don't think I have ever gotten more than 2 in a juggle against him.

I've pulled out around 6 on my friends falcon once. My DJCing is really inconsistent though

The answer that everyone is gravitating towards is: yes, you can juggle with uair. Nesses head goes a bit to the side as well which will handle alot of DIers. You can also make nesse's uair high in the air, or low on the ground which gives Ness a wide range of combos. Oh...and...Ness...

Dthrow to uair on floaties. I think that works on Marth and below.

Uthrow to uair on ff's.

A lot of Ness' combo's involve him chaining the same move over and over again (nair chains, fair chains...). Others involve mindgames. What's great about Ness is that almost all his moves lead to combos. Sadly, that's all their good for... What can Ness do against somebody who crouch cancels, outrange him, projectile spam him, edgeguard him? Nothing. Ness is a good character, he just has nothing for advanced techniques. All you can do is put yourself in situations where you aren't affected by that.

@ annoying: lack of DI makes the video much less impressive.

@ everyone else: thanks for the replies, vote of confidence in ness' abilities, and anecdotes, but in pretty much every match video vs a fastfaller there aren't any uair juggles of more than two. If it works.... it's really hard to do then...

Reik wrote a short guide. I put it at the end of my matchups thread I think. I think's it's called how to cg fastfallers. When they DI it's hard (very hard), but not impossible to do.

Also, head invul makes it even cooler.

u-tilt has that to. I just CANNOT do u-tilts... And everytime I want to dash attack I do an f-tilt, yet when I want to do and f-tilt, my character has a seizure. I can only do u-tilts with Marth for some reason... *cries*

Even with DI uair juggle is possible, but you have to DjC so you have some horizontal momentum, which I can do occasionally now.

slow down, or rather, think ahead your tilts. i'm pretty consistent by sliding the analog in a direction a split second before hitting A to tilt. also, develop that feathery light touch. if you can tilt with marth, just feel it out and execute the same way for ness. [sense] ga ii arunaru.

When I play with Ness I play crazy fast, but my Marth is much more slower calm and collected. I'll keep that in mind. Mabye I should pick up Shiek (**** tilt-*****).
