Does the Classic white GC controller (JP) work on the Wii U adapter?

For any one who has the GC adapter, will it work on the Japanese White Gamecube controllers? I just ordered one and i'm planning on getting the new black one aswell once the game comes out but I was just wondering anyways.

If you are talking about the white controllers you order from Smashboards' Amazon shop, they should work with the adapter.

Yeah, just note that I say that they should work. I have still yet to try out the GC adapter with the Smashboards controllers. But once I get my hands on Smash next week, I will have a definite answer.

Yes, those are the only controllers I use for Smash 4. I had already had 1 before Smash 4, but ordered 3 more from Amazon right before the game release since the price dropped to $30. I bought them mainly for the 10 foot cord length, but apparently the new Smash controller has the 10 foot cord too, which no one could confirm that detail to me before it came out. Oh well, I like the white ones better anyway. :D
