Does Riivolution Bypass Region?

To avoid confusion before it starts, I know the Riivolution codes are region specific but that is simply due to the coding of the game.

I use Riivoltion via stacksmash on a PAL wii with a PAL brawl disk and as such can't use most codes. What I want to know is, am I able to load an american version of brawl through Riivolution and if so, would the american codes work as normal?

You can load an American version of brawl through riivolution, but you can't use American codes on a PAL version of brawl. However, you can use American codes on a PAL wii as long as you have the American copy.
