Hey people!
I have a probably noob question but here it is: when you are in the air and input an aerial and a fast fall (fliping or holding the stick down), whatever the order is, and you hit an opponent, will you stop fast falling?

No, hitting opponent doesn't cancel ff. There's hitlag though that will prevent you from ffing during it, and it will freeze you in place for few frames, so it will make you land later and alter l-cancel timings.

However if you ff at the peak of your dj, your ff will cancel at the time your dj animation would end even if you did aerial attack. This happens regardless of hitting the opponent or aerialing at all.

Sorry, could you please explain this part better?

If you fast fall as soon as possible from double jump (or in the interval between the peak of the jump and the ending of the double jump animation), in other words at the very peak of your trajectory, your fast fall will end after couple of frames and you will go into your normal terminal fall velocity. The fast fall will end at the precise time your double jump animation would end. However you can immediately fast fall again.

It's easy to see the effect with samus: go to bf, jump off the top platform, double jump and ff asap. After a short while you can see her speed visibly slowing.
