Then you came to the wrong place!

^^

I like the team personally, it's been winning matches and is fun to use.

Zapdos @ Lum Berry
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/108 Spd/148 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Agility
- Substitute
- Baton Pass
My starter for the team. He can take a lot of abuse and set up an Agility. Substitute + Lum berry stops any Scarfed Hypnosis attempts, as the fastest user(Gengar) is outsped after an Agility, even with a Timid nature! Hidden Power [Grass] is for Swampert who may think your running the standard Hidden Power [Ice].

Poliwrath (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Brick Break
- Ice Punch
- Hypnosis
- Belly Drum
My main recipient of Zapdos's Agility. Even with max speed, I'm one point from outspeeding Timid ScarfGar after an Agility. However, few ever do, so I'm pretty safe against that. I originally had Waterfall + Return as the two attacks, but it was missing the killing power of Brick Break + Ice Punch, mainly through super-effective hits.

Garchomp (F) @ Yache Berry
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw
- Swords Dance
- Fire Fang
Sometimes this can get an Agility and sweep. However, it's not required. Standard Yache Berry, with Dragon Claw over what I usually have as outrage, since I don't wanna be locked in while sweeping.

Electivire (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Motor Drive
EVs: 76 Atk/180 Spd/252 SAtk
Mild nature (+SAtk, -Def)
- Thunderbolt
- Cross Chop
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power [Ice]
Currently anti-metagame. Not that you've seen it yet, but I have a RestTalking Gyarados in the back, and many people are Hasty(+Spd, - Def) to strike it down with Thunderbolt, which is where this fellow comes in. It can also be the "medium" for an Agility, if I'm stuck as to if the opposing Jolteon will HP Ice(to hit Garchomp), or T-Bolt(to hit Poliwrath). I originally had an Expert Belt, but it was missing the killing power against certain opponents.

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 176 Def/252 SAtk/80 SDef
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Thunder Wave
- Softboiled
- Sing
Currently looking for a good replacement: she spreads status around, but otherwise sucks. Modest Ice Beam comes in handy against Garchomps trying to set up on me.

Gyarados (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP/96 Atk/80 Def/20 Spd/60 SDef
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Waterfall
- Dragon Dance
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
My Sleep-absorber and usually late-game sweeper(assuming Garchomp, Poliwrath, or Electivire could do it). Simply sets up and sweeps. I really dunno about the EVs: they were ripped off from smogon.

Zapdos can't learn baton pass.

Drop DD on Gyara for Stone Edge.

Magmortar can do the exact same thing your vire can, except with more sp.atk. But I guess vire is better to support gyara.

Garchomp wants fire blast over fire fang since those who are weak to fire almost always have less sp.def than def. Even if you SD.

Blissey wants another attacking move over sing. You're wasting your max sp.atk otherwise.

Zapdos gets Baton Pass through XD.

If I use SE, it would be over Waterfall to hit Celebi, Salamence, Vaporeon, Quagsire, Poliwrath, and opposing Gyarados harder while also getting to sweep. I would also use Rock Slide, since PP issues would suck on my Final-resort sweeper.

Electivire has a better ability and better mixed-attacking capabilities. Not to mention the synergy with Gyarados.

With a -Sp. Atk nature and an SD, Fire Fang does more. Fire Fang is also more accurate and hits Bronzong hard.

I'm just going to replace Blissey, as it usually does nothing. Any suggestions?

Hmm...Just an idea, but what if you started with something like this to replace Blissey:

Dusknoir @ Leftovers/whatever
Pressure / Careful
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Atk / 146 Def
-Thunder Punch
-Ice Punch
-Taunt / WoW
-Curse / Memento

The idea is that it kills itself after doing a little screwing around. The BoltBeam combo gives pretty good coverage (and would help with some common starters). Taunt or WoW to mess with set-ups. Do whatever with those moves, really.

The fun comes in with the Curse / Memento. If you have Curse, use it when you're below 50% HP and your opponent is above 25%. So you die and they take massive residual that will either kill them quickly or force a swap. In comes Zapdos, a "free swap" as it came after a KO. They'll probably swap, giving you a free Sub. If you have Memento, use it whenever you need. It'll basically force a swap or make it wonderfully easy for Zapdos to set-up.

I think it would be a more effective counter to opponent leads that try to set-up right off the bat. It would also make the Zapdos set up much easier. It may or may not be an effective battler outside of that, I'm not sure, I haven't bothered to test this idea yet. Oh, and for what it's worth, it shares no weaknesses with your other 5 pokemon.

If I were to use Memento/ Curse, I would use Jumpluff/ Shuppet. The thing is, Zapdos is so bulky that no starter straight-out beats it(except maybe a Specs. PoryZ Hyper Beam). I can easily set up the agility and BP it away for an easy sweep. BandTar may get annoying, but I can sub, scout for a SE miss, and Agility afterwards. If it crunches, I can sub, take the next hit, and agility BP to Poliwrath. The only thing stopping that is the 20% Defense Drop rate.

Anyway, I've currently replaced Blissey with Metagross, and it's been working quite well.
