Does anyone know if there’s a difference between the Nyko retro controller hub and the official Nintendo one?

Since Nintendo made their GC controller hub ridiculously hard to get I’m looking into the Nyko controller hub. Has anybody used it? Does anybody know if there’s any frame data differences or if it’s any worse than the official Nintendo hub?
