Does anyone here play SSB64 via XRGB Framemeister?

I'm curious since most people seem to use Framemeisters for Genesis, SNES, Neo Geo, Saturn, etc. You really don't hear much with regard to N64 use. One thing I know that is an issue with the Framemeister and a N64 is that there are games that switch between 240p and 480i resolutions. This will cause the Framemeister to black out momentarily as it switches resolutions. Other than that, I'm not aware of any other problems. It would be nice to hear from any users here that play console and use a Framemesiter on their modern plasma/LCD set. Devices like the Framemeisters and other video processors tend to induce noticeable lag/delay into the gaming, so anyone that plays SSB64 competitively would be a good test for that. Currently, I continue to play SSB64 on my Sony CRT since they are lag free and make 64 games looks quite good. The Framemeister has always been an interesting device to me, but it's still exorbitantly expensive to take a gamble with, so it'd be great if anyone here has experience with it using an N64 and SSB.

I think ChiboSempai used this or something similar for this stream at the last Smashacre tournament. It looked nice on the flat panel display and I didn't really notice delay while playing but some people said they experienced some.

It might look better with an S-video cable, which I have for the N64 but couldn't find in time for the tournament. I'll bring the cable to APEX.

Here is a set from that tournament

i RGB modded a n64 back in 2011 and ended up using a crappy 50$ SCART --> Component converter and there was still lag on my LCD tv at the time, but maybe that would be better

afaik those things are like 350-500$ and no longer in production

id like to try my RGB modded 64 on that though
