Does anyone else feel like they loose the instant there's lag?

I know I'm a good player, and i feel like I could beat most of the people in for glory, and usually just as I start really kicking their teeth in (just getting in like 150% before my opponent really starts to hit me). But usually just as I'm about to get my first kill, or just after I've gotten my first kill, lag rears its ugly head, and I can't do anything effectively other than jump off the edge and die. I don't want anyone to think I'm complaining, I just want to know if anyone else has had this problem, and what they've done to get past it.

Not really. It seldom happens for me, and even when it does, I play on anyway.

I feel as though I at least owe it to my opponent to try put in a good fight.
