Last Saturday a Dodge Ram's breaks gave out and smashed into the back of my 2002 Honda Civic, forcing me into the back end of another car. No one was injured, but my car was totaled.

Ugh, I can't believe it. Why me? Again? Last winter I wrecked my first car (slid on black ice and hit a sign), and now, 6 months later, my new car gets Ram'd. (Hurrrrr) Guess I shoulda DODGE'D. (Hurrrrrrrrrr) That was how I coped that day. Making light of the situation. My friend was there with me when it happened.

He was eating a burrito when we got Ram'd, and it smashed into my front windshield. When I got out of the car, it looked like someone threw up all over my car. It would have pretty funny if I hadn't almost been killed.

I just don't want to have to get another ****ing car. I live in the middle of the woods (basically) miles away from civilization, so I need a car to support myself with a job. ...Well, moreso 'make money' than 'support,' seeing as how I live with my parents.

But I need this job. If I'm ever going to leave home, I need money. My parent's won't help me out with college, so I don't go. Don't want to, anyways. I'm a bad student. And it's a scam. But that's a rant for another day. I don't want to buy another ****ing car. Ugh. I don't want more chains of debt tying me down. I wanna be free.

I've never told anyone this, but my main goal in life (at the moment, anyway) is to join an integrated community. Or start one. Or something. I wanna join Bread & Puppet Theater. You've probably never heard of it; it's this radically liberal outdoor theater/cheap art collective/demonstrating group/bakers... Uh, here're some videos of 'em: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtZWl_bRJts http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmgkIwz9PXg&feature=related

Why do I want to join? I'm not a radical liberal, oh no. Because I love art. I love performing. I love making ****. I love acting like a radical liberal. A group of people from Bread & Puppet visited my high school once, and it was such a great experience to be involved in the show. It really clicked with me, made me think "Man, I wish I could this for a living." It's so different, so new, so... natural.

I'm not sure if I actually want to pursue that dream. But what if I do? I need to be debt free if I do.

I'll miss my friends. And family. And Shannon. I don't even want to think about leaving them.

I want my old car back.

****in' Dodge Rams.
