Do you think there will be a scrolling screen option for custom stages?

I certainly hope so. If not, several of my stage ideas (such as a stage based on the escape shaft in Tourian at the end of Metroid) will be ruined.

I really hope they do, but the "Remaining Parts" gauge at the top makes me doubt it, sadly. If you could create scrolling stages there wouldn't be nearly enough parts to create a good enough stage. I hope Sakurai can find a way around this. =l

I hope they do. I'd make a long, flat F-Zero style track, set the scrolling to super fast and let Sonic out to see how fast he can really move. Man I'd love to see that hedgehog rip it up!

I really hope so. I wish they'd give us more information on the stage builder. I keep coming up with all of these stage ideas and it sucks not knowing for sure if I'll actually be able to make them or not.

I want to make a stage based off of Silver Surfer for the NES. The whole stage is just a small board and it scrolls through space with all kinds of crap shooting at you.

No I don't think so because of the selection given in choice of size.

I think there'd have to be some programming to it..

Scrolling would be an awesome feature for custom stages! Think of all the possibilities! *thinks of World 1-3 from SMB3* :chuckle:

it might be implemented, and with the use of an SD card to hold the stage size wouldn't really be an issue; But brawl is the game for everyone, a scrolling stage would require quite abit of set up in the editor, and if you wanted to make a stage that varied speed, and direction of scrolling it would just get oh so much harder, not to mention harder to program the editor. I'm not even sure that they'll implement customizable death/camera lines... so a scrolling stage seems unlikely.
