Maybe at the end of the Treehouse stream they will say something like...
"Smash Bros for 3DS demo is now live in the eShop"

PD: I can't pay a new japanese 3DS just for demos

Sakurai has confirmed we will get a demo sometime. We have absolutely no idea when.

I don't think it has to do with whether or not people are poor..Nintendo isn't expecting us to buy a Japanese 3DS to play the demo. They've already said that they're going to give us more info on an international demo soon enough, so we just have to wait for that, but we're getting one in due time.

Yup, that's what I was hoping for. I just want a date already so I know when to expect it, I'm dying to be able to feel what the game plays like.

They just confirmed the demo for the 19th on the Treehouse stream thing.

Heard it's been confirmed as being released on the 19th. Not unexpected since that's the day the Smash Bros edition 3DS comes out.

I am not even to gold right now, and Platinum rewards last time sucked.

Oh okay, awesome! Saw some people say that in Shofu's stream chat, but..eh, not the most reliable source sometimes. Still, I'm glad to know that I'll be able to try it out in only a week!

I'm hoping it's for '13-'14. Otherwise, a lot of people didn't really have that much time to make it to Platinum for this year, considering it resets like every July or something? Also, it's apparently for "select" Platinum members, not sure if that actually means only random ones.

As always, nothing. I wish they release it, at least 3 days before the full game comes.
