Do these things work

So I'm playing Ness again, and also playing around with fair/grab tricks, but I don't know if they really work.

SHFFLED Fair to grab on FFs---Is this a free grab, or can they get out of it? If it is a free grab, then couldnt dthrow to shffled fair grab be a chain grab?

And heres something I've been doing on young link...

D throw to short hopped fair... you gotta make sure you do a cross up so you are behind him, but if you turn, you can grab him (and continue the cycle) I can usually get Y. Link up to about 70% like this. After a few throws you shouldn't really be catching him in your fair, but rather tapping him with the tip of it just to cause stun.

the young link thing seems to work on anyone who isn't a FFer or a floaty character...

Simna, is there anything that isn't escapable with Ness? If that's the case, obviously the downthrow is out. u airs work to an extent on fast fallers, but that has it's limits. bair to bair seems to be good for the heavies(percent dependant), but that leaves most of the cast, including marth and shiek.

Just Fair through your opponents sheild and then hit them with a Bair when they drop it, the weaker Fair to A combo, and of course, Fair to Fair to Fair.

Does the fair to jab to grab work with ness as well as other characters jab to grab

Not as well, Ness's grab is too short, and too slow.
