So I was just messing around in training and I found this...

Is this new or do people know about this?

Basically what's going on is I jump and land right before the edge and right before I land I press the control stick towards the stage.

What I think is happening is when you land your characters slider forward a bit. When you press the control stick in the opposite direction your character turns around. If you time it right you turn around and fall off the edge and grab it.

I'm sure every character can do it... I did it on Marth cause it's easier than others.

This is sort of like a PC drop: you turn right before you fall off the stage while you have forwards momentum, and your momentum carries you off the stage. The reason marth is easy is because he has low traction. Luigi is the easiest to do this with.

Whats really sick is if you do a retreating SHL with falco, slide off the stage, grab ledge, and then double laser.
