Well I just bought a 3rd party Wii lan Adapter. Nyko. I'd also like to point out that, I could never connect my 360 to Xbox Live silver either, even though that was as simple as plugging the ethernet cable into the modem and 360. So I've come to the conclusion it's gotta have something to do with those "manual set-ups" some people have to do.
I keep getting the 51420/51422 error. And I'm not sure what the problem is.
I've done ipconfig and written down my default gateway, subnet mask, etc. & I'm wondering, what ALL is required? because apparently you need the DNS number/s as well, & my friend told me the DNS numbers in his ipconfig window, or different than the DNS numbers on his ISP's homepage/site/account info stuff.
So I'm wondering if anyone else has had to do a manual set-up, and could give me some info.
I'm dying on the inside not being able to connect and fight you people.(I also searched and didn't see any threads relating to this, only to lag complaints)
