I was looking at some SSB4 ideas, and I came across a few threads that wanted DLC (Downloadable Content) in SSB4. This thread is where members can discuss DLC in SSB4 and ideas related to it. Here is my point of view for DLC in SSB4:
-Additional DLC Characters
I do not like the idea of additional characters for DLC. Imagine if you were online, and you saw a character (Kamek for example) and Kamek had completely different moves. You would not expect any of these moves and would most likely lost the fight. Also, if a DLC character was #1 on the tier list. Players who have the money to purchase that character would have an advantage over players who did not.
-Alternate DLC Costumes
I do like the idea of DLC costumes. These would be like a costume for Marth that looked like Roy or a costume for Maro that looked like Shadow Mario.
-Additional DLC Stages
This would work, but I'm not sure about online. There could be specific channels that players could join if they had those certain DLC stages. DLC stages would not affect local mode (maybe a "DLC Stages" tab)
That is my opinion on DLC in SSB4. However, I am completely fine without it.
