So we all know of the whole Toys-to-Life games Play and level up your favourite Disney characters and create your own games in the toy box.

I have recently picked up Disney 2.0 just to see how it was like. To be honest it's kind of fun hell I even bought my niece Elsa from frozen and she can't stop playing. Neither can I, and I have pre-ordered 3.0 because of the more upgraded combat and logic tools to make games and levels also because of more new characters I am a sucker for playable characters. (there goes all my money) But I digress. What do you guys think of the whole Disney infinity game. there are ways to play it for free. Also feel free to discuss anything and all things disney infinity

Well I finally gave in myself today did give in and picked up Disney Infinity so give or take a few bucks, for the price of the DI 2.0 starter pack(~$43) I got DI2.0, the pad, (and using an awesome loophole in B2G3F), buying Iron-Man and Gamora, I got Miss Incredible, Avengers playset, and DI1 base playset(which is awesome because 1.0 is free on wii-u), and got Mr Incredible(since he was $3). So now I can experience both the 1.0 Incredibles playset, and 2 2.0 playsets! Also got the Spiderman/Nova playset+figures. So I'm off to a pretty good start, and I don't even want that much more(Green Goblin, and Venom mainly, perhaps Iron Fist and Hawkeye; Possibly Sorcerer Mickey and Donald, oh and Violet is lower on my toget list, I'm better off getting the marvel ones before they leave stores and prices go up). My Gamestop had a small selection which is why I figured out that loophole!
So yeah, decent start right?

Also so in Europe the Wii-u downloadable version of 3.0 is 1/3 off if you buy it before Sept. 5. Should hold the same for NA, which would bring it down to $20. While I don't have a ton of HD space(I need an external one), I'm thinking of going with it so I can take my time and grab any exclusives I really want(Star Wars I can wait on, but if Darkwing Duck or Kim Possible DO happen, I want them right away), and so I can grab Marvel Battlegrounds, Toybox Takeover, and Toybox speedway(which was made by Sumo!) since they all seem to expand nicely. Oh and of course Ant-man(perhaps Wasp if she happens). That way I can get some of the fun stuff, but keep to my plan of waiting and getting Star Wars stuff when I can get some cheaper used, and skip the starters

only 5 more days till 3.0 and I pre ordered a lot of figures
Personally, I'm waiting till either around Christmas or until next year to get any 3.0 figures/playsets. Funds are on the tighter side for me at the moment, and now's the better time to strike in regards to the 2.0 before anything becomes rare or valued. Yet I'm still considering the the toybox because if it is a third off then it's best to get it now, and if any toybox exclusives happen that I want I can get them right away (like say if Kim Possible[who was polled, and there was a mysterious instagram about] or Darkwing duck(polled about)) and use them. And of course Marvel Battle grounds would have immediate use

Thought I'd be considerate, and post this in here for anyone considering the wii-u version of 3.0
So good news for anyone considering getting 3.0 for Wii-u, while I still can't find any actual reviews for that version the game came out yesterday in UK so a buddy of mine helped me find out the scoop from the DI forums, and its good: Wii-u 3.0 is up to par and appears to have been done in-house, here's the actual quote for those interested

Been playing through the Wii u version for the last few hours. They have fixed basically everything that was wrong with the 2.0 port, the frame rate, the character spawn times, the slow menus. The lighting & texture models are a lot sharper, so it seems to be running at least at 720p rather than the 600 of 2.0. The 2player mode also runs smoothly with no noticeable drop in framerate.
They have removed the ability to select items in the toybox via the gamepad when building on the tv, but this has made building in the toybox much faster as you no longer have to switch between the two. Toybox load times are also vastly improved on 2.0. Off-tv play is still supported and when using the tv the gamepad displays characters power disc and collectibles data. Apparently this port was done in-house by Avalanche & it really shows, they have done an excellent job with 3.0
Also sounds like you may be able to unlock the lightsaber item in-game on this one(which would make sense)
