Different Hitstun/Flinching Stats?

Ok so if you look at the Little Mac reveal you can see he does not flinch, not at Villagers Gyroid, Samus's right aerial, not at Links spin attack. Now the question is, does Little Mac simply have a lot of super armor frames, or is it a different flinching rate? I believe it is the latter, and so there is a possibility of different characters having more or less hitstun rates in general. For example Samus could have less hitstun dealt on her than Pikachu if hit with the same move. Or do you guys think this is just Little Mac's special attribute?

Super Armor most likely.
I would say I'm certain it's just an attribute of Little Mac's, but we do see that Bowser doesn't flinch at Mega Man's shots even though Mario did back at E3.
In the case of that last example though, it's possible things have just changed from back then or maybe Bowser's shell has flinch-resistance.

Or, there's just Super Armor in some of Little Mac's attacks.

I know that in terms of Little Mac many of his attacks just seem to have Super Armor, I just got to thinking about it in general when I remembered the Bowser thing.

Unless Bowser's shell acts like Link's shield.

MM's shots are definitely just being tweaked, Bowser got hit on his shell in the video. They probably have the same no-flinch attributes as Fox's lasers have.

Giving Bowser a flinch resistant shell would make so much sense.

It would be hard to rush him in from the back so double teaming him in teams would be an effort. Bowser could eat attacks and just counter.

At the same time bowser would have limited options when facing away since using a Bair is laggy and his tilts and jabs can be spaced. Not only that it would fit in canonically a la Super Mario 64, when the best option from behind would be to just, y'know, grab him.

I've been thinking about this too. I'd say it's super armor. From what I've seen, it seems fighting Little Mac will revolve around grabbing him a lot and playing defensively.

It looks like the powerhouse characters gets more super armor, which I am really in favor of. Slow and sluggish characters, such as Bowser have always been either "ok" or simply bad characters with exception from a few.. Throwing in some super armor in these characters will force faster characters to be careful not to clash with some of the stronger characters attacks.
