Being a diabetic isn't easy, we have to prick our fingers and make them bleed, have shots that could make us bleed and we have to watch what we eat. None of this is the worst part about being a diabetic...no, we grow use to the pain of the constant bleeding and needles. What IS the worst part is Diet Coke, the worst ****ing drink ever made. Restaurants clearly hate Diabetic customers and get Coke and their nasty drinks to sponsor them. Instead of having Diet Barq's or Coke Zero or better yet getting Pepsi to sponsor them, Diabetics have to deal with Diet Coke, AKA Hell in a bottle.
To describe Diet Coke: Incredibly bitter, devoid of any positive flavors, not very fizzy and worst of all is often the only diabetic friendly drink at the majority of restaurants. Have the restaurant employees and owners not tried this ****? I'm pretty sure if they did they would beg Pepsi to sponsor them and if Pepsi said no get Diet Barq's, Diet Coke's polar opposite: Incredibly sweet, has many wonderful flavors, very fizzy and worst of all you can only get it at Dollar Movie theaters and SOME Burger King restaurants...or by buying the overpriced canned drinks.
What happens often too is that Diet Coke is the only diet drink sold at stores and if the Fountain version tastes painfully bad, then the canned/bottled version is gagworthy. Imagine the flavor of your least favorite drink multiplied 10 times and you get bottled Diet Coke. I hate Coke drinks in general, but even by Coke standards Diet Coke is bitter. Why do restaurants only have this if it tastes so bad? I know I'm not the only diabetic who hates this gross ****ty drink, so why the **** is it served at 95% of restaurants (Atleast in the USA)? TRY YOUR ****ING DRINKS BEFORE DECIDING TO STOCK THEM!!!!
Coke Zero is also a diet coke, but tastes way better. It has higher quality sweeteners, flavor and fizz.
Who else hates this ****ty drink?
