I wanted to make this thread to see what other diddy's are doing out there for good approach. I usually throw out some empty shothops and dash dancing trying to make them waft for a punish, instead of running straight in with a dash attack. I really like holding a Nana while pop gunning short hopping or side B to setup a good banana toss to grab, a. nd of course approaching with Fairs. only thing is if I FF my Fair there is landing lag, if I don't FF til just after he finishes his Fair I have no lag. Watching streams and pro diddys I've noticed no one really jabs with diddy and I can understand why.. it sucks >.< so what do you guys approach with n do you just substitute tilts instead of jab? And whats good timing to Frame cancel your Fairs... if you can? cuz im havin a hard time lol OOO OOO AAHH AAHH

Wait is dashdancing useful for Diddy's approach? I might be used to the Melee time window so I kind of ignored it here :(

Dash dancing is usefull with any character(maybe not so much with chars with a slow dash animation like jiggz)

The Best approach is a mix up of fair. Like rising fair, auto cancled fair, fast Falled fair .. Mix these things again up uair and sometimes just Grab and you are good to go

You are forgetting the super obvious "we going in time to monkey flip" option since it's such a powerful option limitation tool lol
