I did that on kismet in tournament several months ago, I don't think it's very practical though since they reappear near the end of the animation so you can usually just edgehog him or smash him if he goes onto the stage, I think the hurtbox comes out a tad bit earlier than he appears or something so if that's right then it would work in some situations, but it wouldn't be that practical.
