Diddy Banana Catch

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew how to catch a Diddy Banana without airdodging or an aerial. Sone people say you actually do airdodge and it wont show the airdodge animation but that doesnt work so can someone help me out?

Did you post this on both threads? But anyways, use grab in the air. If you air dodge you are doing it half-right, and your timing is a bit off.

Yeah i figured it out, you can't move while you do it.

You can move in the air while doing it, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to, it just requires a bit more precision, I have Down b jump backwards into z catch before.

If you want to do a z-drop aerial catch is where movement becomes more complicated.

For some reason it only works if i dont move while i push my grab button idk how to fix it

The timing is relatively strict, but it's not too hard. My visual cue is when Diddy's head/torso overlaps with the banana, I press the grab button.
