I noticed that my character acts faster, or that just might be because of the universal change. So I figured input timing changed. However it feels like my character is not as responsive as it was in 3.02 half of the time.

Is anyone else experiencing something similar to this?

I play Falco, and I can tell you that his jump input and inputs after a jump feel a bit faster and rushed, but my performance with him is still the same. It's just something I have to adjust to.

Yeah I figured. But sometimes my chars won't jump OR smash instantly with Cstick.

I feels that. Performing instant double jumps in 3.02 was smooth and easy, but it feels more precise in 3.5. When I try to perform double-jump lasers with Falco, I sometimes end up doing a full hop instead. The input timing and speed for certain moves feel a little more rushed and precise in 3.5 as compared to 3.02.

It 's been adjusted to feel more like Melee
So now the game isn't as forgiving or beginner friendly? Sounds good. This way Sm4sh will get more attention since ain't nobody got time for precise button inputs on HDTVs or Wifi.
