I had an idea that maybe wavedashing could possibly be in to a more useless degree, but anyway, did anyone try to do a platform drop and then air-dodge immediately after? Maybe this would slide you across the platform like the wavedash effect did.

No flames about whining for wavedashing in Brawl, I'm okay with it, but really the purpose I had in mind for this thread was to create speculation or just to get my original question answered.

I mean if you were running, then pressed down to do a platform drop with your momentum intact (I'm not sure if it cancels momentum though *shrug*), then immediately do an air dodge, then maybe it would still think of you as above the stage and thus hit the ground at a near-horizontal angle.

Just a question about the new air dodge that doesn't deserve its own thread--does it still have the same effect when you land mid-dodge? Like the clouds or whatever?
