Guys having some problems in the wii u versione with VI and DI
what i must do between this two?
i understand nothyng. Can someone explain to me please?

I believe VI was removed in one of the latest patches, and is no longer worth discussing.

Here's an extended tutorial on DI, roughly applicable to any Smash Bros game.

The very short version is that you can influence the direction you're sent when hit by holding a direction *PERPENDICULAR* to the original direction you're sent.

For example, if you're sent straight up, you can DI straight left, or straight right. Respectively, those will produce flight paths like \ or /. If you're hit 45 degrees up and right, then you can DI up-and-left, *or* down-and-right. The optimal choice will depend on whether you're trying to survive a killing blow, or escape a combo.
