Torrent is hosting for the first time a Niagara Regional Tournament for Super Smash Brother Melee and Project M!
Torrent is only going to be Online registration ONLY, we are not accepting payments at the door. Here is a link to our registration page:

Torrent is SELF HOSTED with 40+ Consoles and 40+ T.Vs! Meaning no one needs to bring any consoles/TV's, if you feel that you for some reason must bring a console and a TV it MUST be set up outside the venue. The only thing required for you to bring is your controller. The event "Torrent" is not held responsible for any of your belongings damaged.

The location of Torrent will be in St. Catharines, Ontario at the Holiday Inn.
The Tournament will be hosted at the Holiday Inn. The address for the Holiday Inn is 327 Ontario Street, St. Catharines, ON L2R 5L3.
The Venue will be on the main floor in the Merlot Room, we will have a table set up with the tournaments name on it. You won't miss it.The venue is only able to seat 200 people.

There are NO REFUNDS for this event so please MAKE SURE you are going to attend the event and if you are teaming with someone MAKE SURE they won't drop out on you.
Venue Fee is $20.00 CAD and each event is $15.00 CAD.

- 2nd: 20%
- 3rd: 10%
- 4th: 5%
The side event for smash 4 will be a 8 player smash:
- All items set on Very High
- The only stage that will be legal is Battlefield (Small).
- Stock is set to 3.
- The buy in is $5.00 and first place will get $35.00.

Bring Your Own Controller, Don't smell, Tournament matches have priority over friendlies and money matches. No drugs, alcohol or anything illegal allowed.

The Holiday Inn has NO ROOMS during the time Torrent is going to be held. Torrent's first tournament is going to be a one day event.
If you need to book a room please call the Holiday Inn and check for availability: (905) 688-2324.
Food will be cooked at the venue at the cost of $10.00 however there is a Mcdonalds, KFC, Taco Bell, Tim Hortons down the street and Burger King right across the street from the Holiday Inn. There is also multiple restaurants nearby. We are going to have a lunch and dinner breaks and will have a 30 min grace period to eat. There is plenty of parking in the front and back of the Hotel. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY A FEE TO PARK.
