Dealing with Yoshi's Side-B?

You can Crouch Cancel it, Grab it, Beat it with a relatively disjoint move (fair and dair both work great as didds said, jab at least clanks with it.) clank it with a projectile like fireball, jump over it, unplug the Yoshi's controller and complain that the move in broken, all work. Just don't shield it because it does tremendous shield stun and a good yoshi will continue to shield pressure you out of it.

i lol'd but thanks. i'll have to try it out and see what can consistently beat it out. doesn't yoshi coming out of side-b have it's own hitbox as well?

Yes It does have a hit box when you get out of it and it also has a large slightly disjointed hitbox on the side it's traveling towards when it's grounded, but coming in hot with a shffl dair with pretty much any char will stop it in it's tracks, also during the start up it goes into the air before landing. While it is in the air it has no priority.
