Dealing with projectiles?

Hello all- I am pretty new to any sort of competetive smash so I don't consider myself to be great yet. That being said, I'm at the point where I can handle most novice situations alright- though I get slaughtered by projectile spam. Projectiles with a lot of hitstun that can be used repeatedly (wolf/falco lasers, etc.) destroy me no matter who I play, as I have tons of trouble approaching without being hit. I was wondering how to approach this tactic. Should I never give the opponent a chance to use many projectiles by constantly pressuring them? Also if they manage to start spamming how do I safely make it towards them?

Fox/Falco/Wolf can shine reflect projectiles.
Mario/Doc can cape projectiles.
Lucas/Ness can bat projectiles/absorb some.
Mewtwo can swot projectiles.
Link/Toon Link can shield projectiles.
Zelda can Nayru Love projectiles.
Marth/Ike/Roy can counter projectiles
Mr. Game & Watch can save and counter projectiles.
Pit can shield and reflect projectiles.
R.O.B. can swivel to reflect projectiles.
Snake can crawl under projectiles
Jigglypuff can wave dash/crouch under most neutral projectiles.
Popo has Nana's body to take projectiles.
Anyone can reflect projectiles with a power shield.

Players that can fly/have multiple jumps, have the ability to stall in air or use their own projectile have a better time dealing with projectiles than other characters that have nothing like, per say: Captain Falcon.

Characters like him have to rely solely on their evasion skills and shielding ability.

Hmm, I don't tend to play too many of those characters, though I think you mentioned a few things I forgot like the ROB swivel, which is useful. I recently have been playing characters like Wario and Dedede (who lacks a quick counter projectile). Do you have any tips for how I can work on/create evasion skills?

You can swat most projectiles out of the air to aid your approach.

DDD can essentially fly/has multiple jumps.
Wario can use one jump + his side be to jump again (?) not including his up B, or for a fact you can use his side B momentum to jump sooner or later and use that for a mix up I guess.

Shairn: I entirely forgot about that- I'll definitely try that, thanks!

210stuna: With Dedede I find that he is simply too large and too slow to just float above the projectiles without being smacked, even with multiple jumps. Maybe I've been doing it wrong though. That Wario advice sounds great however, thank ye kindly.
