dealbraker issue with smash bros online

Smash used to work fine for me vs other players in all online modes. However I just changed my isp, and since then I cant connect to other people. My wii u (along with every other device in the house) connects to the internet fine...however when I try to join a match, it says "failed to connect to partner's device"...ive tried a million times and it says the same thing...went into my router to enable upnp and to enable dmz, and it still doesnt work...anyone have any fixes? Or else I may be forced to sell my wii u because smash was the reason I even bought one...plz help

I believe I saw some people have this issue before on another site. Have you given these a try?

• Delete the internet connection on your WiiU and re-enter it (if you kept the same SSID and WiFi password you should still do this)
• Reset your modem's gateway (easiest way to do this is to just turn it off, wait, and turn it back on)
• Lan adapter?

Remember the box that plugs into your wall is called a modem. Many stock modems are the modem + router combo in 1 though. If have more than 1 box, you want to mess with both of those and not just 1 of them.

Yes I did all of them...the modem can only be reset by the isp, and I called them to do it...I also reset my router...erased all wii u vonnections and made new ones...I even called wii u service center...we are all baffled...
