Yes, I know this should be character specific, but I need the timings for multiple characters, and there is a rule against Double Posting, so :p

Can someone give the timings for these characters:
(Priority Needed in Order)

Shulk
Greninja
Shiek
Roy

Thanks for the help, and have a wonderful day!
No Johns please.

I don't think anyone has collected frame data on dash start up and cancel windows yet. I'm also not sure how useful this data is for getting the timings down. It's only two inputs, so in this case I don't think that there is any substitute for just labbing it out with the 4 characters you listed. The loading screen on FG is where I practice all my dash dancing and perfect pivoting, I recommend it.

Left Left Right Right. You'll figure it out if you mess around in training mode for 5 minutes.

I swear to god there were timings dependant on dash variables. Im a fraud ); Im a pleb );
They are slightly dependent but in the end, the window is so similar for most characters that it really won't be too different from any of the other characters. I know that in the Falcon thread, someone made an audio aid to help people learn how to do this. Just do left, left, right, right to the beat. Here's the link. OP said it works for characters such as Captain Falcon, Ganondorf, Marth, Lucina, Roy, and Little Mac. I'm sure most other characters are in a similar timing. Good luck, hope I was of assistance.

They are timing dependent, as they are half of the initial dash animation for each character. There was a video thread somewhere that shows all the characters performing perfect pivoting that you can use (which is Dash Dancing but stopping after the turn around animation instead of following through and finishing the dash). The window of opportunity is fairly small for most of the cast, which is why a lot of players don't seem to be able to pull it off consistently.

Found the video that posted when you can turn during the dash animation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vaR4RM-qr0 Again, it's about perfect pivot but the timing required during the initial dash is the same.
