Dash Cancelling?

I am aware you could cancel your dash with UpSmash and Down Smash but apparently you can do so as well with a reverse side tilt.

Was this a thing in previous games? if yes then ignore this post/block it/whatevs.

But I think this could help Mega Man a bit while escaping opponents?, though it could nor prove very useful, maybe it would with other characters?

Megaman's moves are too slow/weak to help with that, sadly.

Oh, then people already knew about the dash cancelling with the tilt? then nevermind that.

And yeah Megaman doesn't really have much use of this, hey, at least he has awesome aerials
