Dark Sprite glitch

Apparently there's a glitch that turns characters in the select screen a super dark shade of blue. While it is only on the character select screen, it doesn't affect anything else and goes away when you start the game. You can change the alt costumes of the character when in this form. It doesn't seem to work with player 1 and 2 though.

Interesting glitch. I await the day when someone figures out how to glitch the game so you can play Master Hand like in Melee.

Shame about Bowser Jr's title there...

Hmmmm. It kind of looks like that the sprites are blue at first and then lighten up really quickly. Maybe it's because they got stuck in an opening frame?

Huh, strange. I wonder what would make the Wii U go "Oh, I should make the character really dark blue now".

I play with some pretty messed up people and I usually can't do stuff like this because of it. I can't use my personal account anymore online because of them.

But seriously, it seems to be the animation is just stuck.

Maybe the game just got fed up with the non-stop selecting and decided to give you a dark sprite of your character cause why not.

Seemingly must be a bug but a cool one to know about.
