Dark Characters Help

Hey, Ive seen people do it long ago in the past, but how do you make any character a dark character. Such as Dark Bowser and so on. I don't want there dark costume even though you dont need a code for that, but I need to know how to make it so you can make them all black basically, kinda like Dark Link... Can some one help me?

To make it look like the Characters are basically shadows like dark link.

Not exactly, ive seen people do it. It was kinda like on the campaign. Where you can make a character infected by the subspace. and they were this emerald color, i want to know how to do that, except they are just the dark character instead. Ive seen it done before.

Oh there's codes that make the game load the dark bowser costume or the emerald color

Yes it'll make all the characters dark but you could button activate it to load when you select a certain character

sorry for the double post really, but im a machinima maker, and I need to hurry and find out how to make it so that I can only make on particular character Dark or mabey a few more.

Just texture hack a character completely black and get over it. They really do turn out pitch black, except on occasions where there's a bright flash near them. Also, emerald textures would work, too, but Toon Link, ZSS, Wolf, and Sonic don't have emerald costumes.

Well, Don't post if you're a troll. Besides I have no clue how to change textures. I remember there being a code to choose which characters and stuff. I will just look for it. And get over what?

Anyway, if anybody can help me. I need a code that will only make particular characters black NOT emerald. I have looked everywhere including the color modifier, making them black is not an option. I dont mind if it would be player 3 or player 4 the ones with black characters, i just need one.

Anyways, download BrawlBox, get the files for the costumes of each character you need done, open each in BrawlBox, search through the file until you find the textures and extract each one and completely fill it with black, then replace the textures in BrawlBox, save the files, put them on the SD card, and load them in Brawl.
