Does anybody use the dair as an approach?

It seams too work fairly well to do a single shffl with the dair as an approach stunning your enemy giving you an opening.

It works for me half the time and when it doesnt I convince myself that I either didnt fast fall or that I missed the l cancel.

Anyone else try this and have decent success and I just need to practice this, or does it just not work?

Sometimes if I'm in the air and my opponent's jumping up to attack me, I use dair to break up their attack. Also I like to drop through a platform and dair on someone. I sometimes SHFFL a dair on someone's head when I can't think of what to do lol. It doesn't have much knockback but it does crazy damage.

I desynch sometimes and throw d-air at the other guy while nana uses ice block. Sometimes I get a grab.

I SHFFL d-airs if I want to try for a grab but don't want to actually run and grab or am positive they won't cc. Either because they have no cc game or because they haven't been ccing anything.

shuffled dair is one, a little bit risky way to approach with the ic's. I use it sometimes as a some kind of "suprise". shuffled dair -> jab -> grab is pretty well working combo.

shuffled bair approaching is much better than dair approach IMO, but hey... why not to use both approachis in times? then u at least have a two choisis how to approach =).

LOL, I find myself using a desynched Nair Approach sometimes. They both take turns launching themselves at the enemy. Sometimes, enemies don't know how to deal with it when two ICs are coming at them like that. I could probably do the same with Bairs. Is that safer?

Probably Speedsk8er. The Nair is neat and fun (very fun ^_^), but it's not very useful. The bair, on the other hand, can't effectively be CCed except at very low percents and has better range.

Dair is pretty much useless if your opponent is CCing. Try dairing against a Peach and see what happens x_x. But pretty much any character can do it. If your opponent is CCing, both dairs and jabs are useless, in which case you want to get your opponent up into the air and keep them above you with Uairs.

I do like to do what 56k said - cover your descent with Dairs. That way even if your opponent hits you they'll take just as much damage. And if they don't attack you're given a free techchase.
