D pad + Smash DI

I was thinking last night about this. So a lot of people now set the d pad to things other than taunts for grab-breaking purposes. From what I understand, you can set the d pad to anything except taunts and this will work. My question was if anyone had experimented with using the d pad to assist with smash DI. Right now, dual stick mechanics is the most efficient method for smash DI. But who knows? Some settings could definitely help. It shouldn't affect the ability to grab break.

I think that's something someone should test. I bet SDIs with two different inputs at once would be extremely helpful. Maybe i'll test it tonight. Good idea!​
