D-pad as c-stick, taunts assigned to select+direction input?

I dont think this is even possible.
I would have loved a giant virtual c-stick on the touch screen. But they probably wanted to sell those New 3DS/XL with the C-Stick as a selling point.

Yeah, I can imagine it being pretty awkward to press both Select and the Circle/D-pad, since they're both on the left hand side.

A touch-screen c stick! That's genius. Why don't they do that? They have so much room down there.
