Customization for Tourney Builds?

Up to what degree can P:M builds be customized for professional tourneys?

I understand that BRSTMs are fair game but what about stage and character textures? SFX? That said, exactly what can and can NOT be modified in a custom build that's going to be used at a tournament (ex. APEX or CEO).

SSS/CSS aesthetic changes are generally OK but most tournies frown on costumes/stage textures.
