So uh, Reddit and KC-MM are like no help right now, thought I'd post something here.
I'm trying to edit the volume codes for Project M (Like, Fountain of Dreams is too loud and Pokefloats is too quiet).
I tried downloading lakora's GCT editor but it won't let me add any kind of Custom Song Volume codes and earlier I tried using Brawl Song Manager to do it (saving over the GCT codeset)... boy did that end badly :p

But ya, I just want to edit the in-game volume for specific songs, can anybody help me?

As far as I know the code for costume volume is:

041CA05C 388000XX where XX is a hexadecimal number from 00 (softest) to 7F (loudest). Use this table for conversion and this thread for help.

That said, without having personally tested it, many people report that the code no longer works in 3.5.

Also, you can edit your gct with the program found here.

Wow man! Thank you so much! I finally have a way to do this.
(I haven't tried it yet). But 1 thing... what goes in byte count (from the thread you posted)?

You don't need to input the byte count in the Global custom volume code I gave you. You only need to do that if you use the custom song volume code found in that thread for songs individually.

I would prefer to do the songs individually though, like I only really wanna make my N's Castle Medley more louder and make Pokefloats louder so I can actually put a song over it.

The easier way is just to use a custom .brsar and modify the volume level in that.
