Custom Stages?

Custom Stages haven't even been thought of, in the midst of this smash hype. Do you think they'll come? Or nah?

I personally think they will be an exclusive to the Wii-U, considering that custom stages have not been spoken of, and the release dates for Wii-U and 3DS are different. (The release date difference is probably either/also a marketing ploy as well, to get people to buy both copies of the game.)


Whether it comes to both systems or not, it needs to be re-structured. The custom stage creator in brawl was terrible.

It's a difficult thing to pull off, no doubt. If it's complex it won't mesh well on a Nintendo title. Too simplistic and basic, and it's Brawl's stage editor, which was mostly irrelevent. I think it would be a nice feature if they expanded what you could with it, but if it were removed, and other new features were executed really well instead, I don't think a lot of people will be shedding tears for it.

Custom Stages being a DLC option could be a good idea. That way, the game could come out earlier, and purchasing custom stage packs would make the work be worth the time.
