I have stage expansion 2.0 which gives me 37 extra custom stages to add. Stage expansion 2.0 comes with .rel files needed to make custom stages work. Whenever i download a stage that comes with its own .rel file non of them seem to work. I have used hex editor to change the
38 A5 00 00 38 80 00 XX to 38 A5 00 00 38 80 00 00. Still the custom stages freezes without making noises when i select it. I am correctly naming and placing the files in the right spot. Stages that do not come with a rel file work fine, i just use the rel files that come with stage expansion 2.0 to make it work.
So basically in case your lost the rel files that come with stage expansion 2.0 tutorial seem to work only with stages that do not come with their own rel files. They do not work with stages that come with their own rel files. How do i fix this?
